Nestled between the Giriama village of Fumbini and the beautiful emerald waters of Kilifi Creek, is Distant Relatives Ecolodge. This is the place we have chosen for our digital nomad program. The philosophy of Distant Relatives has always been to work around nature, rather than making nature work around us. Caring for the environment, supporting the local community, the amazing location and their co-working space made us decide to host the Impact Nomads program here.

There are still such places. Stunning, laid-back and calm. Kilifi is such a place. Surrounded by Baobab trees, white sandy beaches, crystal clear sea and a tropical climate. Go for a sunset sailing trip, have dinner with a local family or relax on the beach. All is possible.
